About Us

IIM Indore Management Canvas is a quarterly business magazine run by the participants of IIM Indore.  It is a platform for the students of IIM Indore as well as the other IIMs and elite management institutions to express their views, ideas and insights, extrapolating what they learn in the class rooms on to the everyday world. The vision is to combine this student perspective with the experience of professors, alumni and corporates in a unique business magazine.

To showcase the harmony of innovative minds enthused with a vision to make it bigger than ever before, the magazine contains articles of such varied types as expert interviews, fresh insights and business propositions as well as the student and industry perspective on all management verticals including finance, marketing, systems, human resources and operations. The Magazine also carries interviews with industry and corporate heads, book reviews, guest columns and fun events. The guest columns have been penned by such industry luminaries as Mr Anand Mahindra, Mr Subroto Bagchi, Mr Girish Mehta, Dr Shiv Kumar and Mr Subhasheesh Anand amongst several others.

Apart from the students of IIM Indore and its alumni, the Magazine reaches the top management, offices, and libraries of almost all of the biggest organizations in India. Apart from reaching India’s top 30 B-Schools and other top colleges and institutes in India, the Magazine also boasts of a high number of individual subscribers. Since 2008, the Magazine also reaches Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.

The Story

Started as iMag in 2005 by the PGP participants, it was the first of its kind and was circulated primarily within the top 30 B Schools in India. In 2007, in teaming up with the Executive PGP participants,  it was renamed as iCanvas and its reach was widened to the corporate world. In 2009, with the help of  IIM Indore's Director , Dr. Ravichandran, the Magazine grew into its next phase of re-branding and has come out bigger and better with an even wider reach, as IIM Indore Management Canvas.

The Wharton Connection

IIM Indore Management Canvas also has a licensing agreement with Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Apart from unlimited access to arguably the world's best portal of management articles, the Knowledge @ Wharton archives, the Magazine also has permission to print them. Copies of the Magazine also reach the Wharton campus.
